The GFPS INSTAFLEX System
The INSTAFLEX plastic piping system is designed to meet the highest requirements of various applications in building services engineering — from distribution to the point of use.
Polybutene, a material specially developed for these applications, offers numerous advantages, from limited expansion force to low weight, space-saving installation, easy processing and high hygiene during operation.
INSTAFLEX is made of polybutene-1 (polybutylene, PB-1)
The INSTAFLEX system is made of polybutene — the ideal material for drinking water installations. It was specially developed for applications in building services engineering.
Of all the all-plastic systems available, polybutene has the lowest thermal expansion rate. The material can absorb any expansion itself. No expansion joints or expansion pieces are required.
It also allows the use of standard fasteners and fixtures. The result: clean installations that are a feast for the eyes, even in confined spaces.

Wide range of dimensions
The INSTAFLEX system offers a wide range of available sizes (d 16 mm to d 315 mm). The same system can be used equally well in a single-family home, a hospital or even on board a luxury ocean liner.
Hygienic pipe system
Polybutene is corrosion-free and does not release any taste or harmful substances. Its smooth surface also prevents limescale deposits.
Quick and easy installation
The flexibility of polybutene allows for small changes in direction without the need for adapters. This saves on additional parts and valuable time during on-site installation. Polybutene remains flexible and easy to handle even at low temperatures.
Cost-effective prefabrication
With the Z-Dimension method from GF Piping Systems, individual components can be prefabricated cost-effectively in the workshop and quickly installed on site.
